77th Indian Republic Day- The legacy show
Just like any other Republic Day in Indian Household, we all gathered together to watch Republic Day function today on DD National Channel. Paa was already set with remote, maa preparing breakfast for everyone and we siblings sitting alongside Paa for the Republic Day function to start. Quick note: Republic Day Function, organized annually on January 26, is a national celebration which runs for approx. 2 hours. This function includes representation of our Defense advancements, military capabilities and a vibrant showcase of Indian rich culture and heritage through State tableaus and dance performances. Since I was kid, it always has been the same pattern for the Gantantra Diwas. First of all, family members are available together including Paa because its an off for the courts. Also our school/college/office are closed too. We all enjoy this function with a lazy breakfast, sipping milk or tea and reminiscing the past parades.
